Aimee M. McCroskey is a Nationally Certified Senior Advanced Professional Paralegal (PP), having obtained her national professional paralegal (PP) certification via NALS® (The National Association of Legal Support Professionals).
Pursuant to NALS® Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Aimee may place herself for public hire* to draft and prepare legal documents for any person, entity, government, administrative agency, employer, and/or any other agency or organization; however, please note that she is not a licensed attorney and therefore cannot give you any legal or tax advice.
Members of NALS® are bound by the objective of this association and the standards of conduct required of the legal profession. Canon 1 states, “Member of this association shall maintain a high degree of competency and integrity through continuing education to better assist the legal profession in fulfilling its duty to provide quality legal services to the public.” Aimee certainly stands true to this canon and strives to maintain professional integrity and ethics for all of her clients and for the public.
Aimee M. McCroskey is also commissioned by the Governor of the State of Tennessee, as a certified Notary Public at Large, and is authorized to act in any county in the State of Tennessee. She is licensed and bonded, and her coverage is currently active for in-person and remote notarial acts.
All communications must be adhered to with responsibility, responded to immediately, and communicated with truth and/or clarity of instructions. Aimee reserves the right to refusal for any reason, including failure to communicate timely, as this can delay her potential billable hours with other clients.
All services are subject to written agreement. Once services are performed and completed, refunds cannot be made.

- Comprehensive Background Checks – please note our background check services are provided for risk purposes only, and not for financial gain or fraudulent purposes. McC Legal holds the right to refusal if we find unethical motive is involved.
- Background checks are important for many reasons, and they can be extremely beneficial in various ways. A few of these reasons are listed as follows:

- Background checks are important for many reasons, and they can be extremely beneficial in various ways. A few of these reasons are listed as follows:
Draft and prepare other legal documents, including, but not limited to:

- All services to the general public (this does not include firms and attorneys) must be paid in advance.
- All rates and package deals are subject to change, given advance notice.
DOMESTIC RATES
*All filing fees, issuance of subpoena fees, service of process fees, and/or other agency fees are to be paid separate from the following prices, and are to be paid directly to the court or issuing agency:
- Uncontested Divorce without Children Package:
- $1,200 – includes: Divorce Statistical Information Sheet, Divorce Complaint, Marital Dissolution Agreement (MDA), Agreed Order, Final Decree of Divorce, Divorce Certificate, and (2) notary signatures (husband and wife) — and other county required pleadings/verifications (i.e. Injunction to Parties, Restraining Notice, etc.)
- a savings of $1,500 – $9,000 compared to general U.S. attorney rates
- $1,200 – includes: Divorce Statistical Information Sheet, Divorce Complaint, Marital Dissolution Agreement (MDA), Agreed Order, Final Decree of Divorce, Divorce Certificate, and (2) notary signatures (husband and wife) — and other county required pleadings/verifications (i.e. Injunction to Parties, Restraining Notice, etc.)
- Uncontested Divorce with Children Package:
- $1,550 – includes: Divorce Statistical Information Sheet, Divorce Complaint, Marital Dissolution Agreement (MDA), Agreed Permanent Parenting Plan (PPP) (if applicable) with attached Child Support Worksheet, Agreed Order, Final Decree of Divorce, Divorce Certificate, and (2) notary signatures (husband and wife) — and other county required pleadings/verifications (i.e. Injunction to Parties, Restraining Notice, etc.)
- a savings of $2,000 – $15,000 compared to general U.S. attorney rates
- $1,550 – includes: Divorce Statistical Information Sheet, Divorce Complaint, Marital Dissolution Agreement (MDA), Agreed Permanent Parenting Plan (PPP) (if applicable) with attached Child Support Worksheet, Agreed Order, Final Decree of Divorce, Divorce Certificate, and (2) notary signatures (husband and wife) — and other county required pleadings/verifications (i.e. Injunction to Parties, Restraining Notice, etc.)
- Uncontested Modification of Post-Divorce Custodial Rights / Visitation / Child Support:
- $800 – includes Petition, Amended/Agreed Permanent Parenting Plan (PPP) with attached Child Support Worksheet, Agreed Order, and (2) notary signatures (mother and father) — and other county required documentation (i.e. Injunction to Parties, Restraining Notice, etc.)
- a savings of $2,000 – $10,000 compared to general U.S. attorney rates
- $800 – includes Petition, Amended/Agreed Permanent Parenting Plan (PPP) with attached Child Support Worksheet, Agreed Order, and (2) notary signatures (mother and father) — and other county required documentation (i.e. Injunction to Parties, Restraining Notice, etc.)
- Individual Domestic Documentation Preparation (outside of package deals):
- $85 per hour (one hour minimum), per individual small form or legal correspondence (i.e., demand letter or letter of request, summons, Child Support Worksheet recalculation, other Excel worksheet calculations, motions, notices, exhibit preparation, proposed agreed order, etc.)
NON-DOMESTIC RATES
*All filing fees, issuance of subpoena fees, service of process fees, and/or other court or agency fees are to be paid in advance and separate from the following prices, and they are to be paid directly to the court or issuing agency.
*Bulk packages can be negotiated.
Our current 2025 rates are as follows:
- $85.00 per comprehensive background check (plus $50 access fee)
- $85.00 Criminal background check (plus TBI or other state fee)
- $85.00 per hour (one hour minimum) for other/general legal services (plus any state applicable fees)
- Any applicable gas mileage will be billed at the most recent posted IRS standard business mileage rate (last posted rate [2023] is $62.5 cents per mile for travel and return). IRS rates are subject to change.
