As a native of the great State of Tennessee, Aimee attended Middle Tennessee State University and received her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare and Business Administration, while majoring in nursing and double-minoring in Community & Public Health and Psychology.
Legal: Aimee also has twenty-seven (27) years of experience as a legal professional; is a firm administrator; a Nationally Senior Certified Advanced Professional Paralegal (PP), specializing as a medical paralegal; is certified in LexisNexis Legal Research (Professional Paralegal Mastery Certification Program); is certified in WestLaw Legal Research (WestLaw Certification Program for Paralegals); is certified in AI Legal Research (Clio Legal AI); is an arbitration & mediation professional; served as the Executive Assistant to two judges (one federal and one state); had five (5) years of direct in-trial involvement; and was elected for four (4) years as Treasurer and Co-Educational Director for the National Association of Legal Support Professionals (NALS – Nashville Chapter; a non-profit organization).
Medical: In addition to attending nursing school, Aimee is certified as a First Aid Responder for adult/child/baby in First Aid/CPR/AED; has five (5) years of experience as a CNA Preceptor in memory care, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes; and has 1.5 years of clinical experience at Saint Thomas Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN working in med-surg (Same Day Surgery, pre-op, operations, post-op, OR, cardiac rehab, cath lab, oncology); and in OB (Labor & Delivery, post-partum, nursery, and neonatal); as well as in community and public health services (Vanderbilt Women’s Health Clinic; Nissan Smyrna Health Clinic; and Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital Women’s Childbirth Clinic).
Pairing medical & legal, Aimee was a pioneer for national, virtual, senior, certified medical paralegal, general paralegal, and firm administrator services in the U.S. following the Covid-19 global pandemic.
